Description

A solid laser fax machine at an accessible price, the KX-FLM551 zips out 10 pages per minute, with a price that makes it ideal for the home office. With a 14.4K bps modem, integrated telephone handset, fax forwarding, paging and remote retrieval, 100 auto-dial locations, and broadcasting to up to 158 locations, the value of the machine is obvious. The KX-FLM551 is compatible with users who have Call Waiting/Caller ID and Distinctive Ring features on their phone lines, and it features a 15-page document feeder and a 150-sheet paper tray, accommodating letter-size and legal-size paper. It also functions as a copier (making up to 99 copies from one original) and a scanner or printer, when connected to a personal computer via a parallel port. The scanner isn`t designed for demanding high-resolution applications, but you can import pictures, line art, and signatures into your document at 600 x 600 dpi.
